AceScore Privacy Policy
AceScore is a tennis scoring app for iPhone and Apple Watch. It helps you record match scores, match settings, and match progress. We respect your privacy and designed the app to work without actively collecting personal information.
1. Information We Collect
AceScore does not require you to create an account and does not actively collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera data, microphone data, or other information that identifies you personally.
The app may store the following data locally on your device to provide scoring features:
- Match scores, games, sets, and match history;
- Custom match rules or scoring settings;
- Active match snapshots used to restore your previous scoring state.
This data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded by us to any server.
2. Apple Watch Sync
If you use the Apple Watch version of AceScore, the app may sync the current match state or related scoring data between your own iPhone and Apple Watch. This sync is used only to keep the scoring experience consistent across your devices. We do not receive or store your data through this feature.
3. Third-Party Services, Advertising, and Tracking
AceScore does not include third-party advertising SDKs, does not track you for advertising purposes, and does not sell, rent, or share your in-app scoring data with third parties.
If you choose to share crash logs or diagnostics with Apple, that information is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We may only receive anonymous or aggregated information from Apple to help understand app stability issues.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Local match records and settings remain on your device until you delete them in the app, reset app data, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling AceScore generally removes the data stored locally by the app.
5. Children's Privacy
AceScore does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require account registration and does not actively collect personally identifiable information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data Security
We use local device storage to reduce data transfer risks. You should also protect your device, system account, and passcode to prevent unauthorized access to your local match records.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if AceScore's features or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
